It features modern restrooms with showers and flush toilets and has sixteen 50 amp electrical sites to provide plenty of power. There are additionally ten non-electrical sites for tent campers.

This campsite is located along the Shell Rock River and is the perfect space for campers and anglers to enjoy the outdoors. There are electrical hookups for up to 30 trailers and space for tents. Wilder Park

  Allison, IA  (Highway 3, East Edge)

Enjoy a variety of recreational activities like a frisbee golf course, sand volleyball court, baseball backstop, soccer area, foot golf, 8 miles of hard-surfaced walking and biking trail, two fishing ponds, a large playground, wildflower prairie, free wireless internet, mini-golf course, and an entertainment stage. Visitors camping at this park will have access to a shower house, 3 storm shelters, a dumping station, and more.

Wunsch Memorial Area

  Greene, IA

With its close proximity to nearby recreational opportunities like the city swimming pool, city park and playground, lighted tennis and basketball courts, sand volleyball, and boat ramp the Wunsch Memorial Area has plenty to do for campers. It also includes an open shelter house, flush toilet facilities, and 10 electrical hookups for campers.

Grundy County Campsites

Wolf Creek Recreation Area

  Beaman, IA  (Along river near city center)

This is a 93 acre multi-purpose recreation area. It provides picnicking, camping, hiking, hunting for rabbits and pheasants, and fishing in Wolf Creek. Facilities available include a shelter house with electricity, water, picnic tables, grills, pit type toilets and a composite playground structure. The Comet trail is a recreational trail that connects this park with the towns of Beaman, Conrad, and soon Gladbrook.

Grundy County Lake

  Dike, IA

This area is Grundy County's newest recreation area. The 40-acre lake was created by IDOT in 1999. Construction of the boat ramp and access drives around the lake began in 2002 and the park officially opened to the public in July 2003. An asphalt hiking/biking trail was constructed with the city of Dike in the summer of 2008. A 60-site modern campground contains large, level camping pads – both back-in and pull-through sites.
